Make the laundry chore fun for kids and easy on the family! Laundry Jet makes keeping rooms free of dirty easy using “ports” in any room of the house that will whisk the clothes, sheets, or towels straight to the laundry room! Laundry Jet installs in new and existing homes. When laundry is done, we can even bring the clean laundry back to one room (with limitations) with the same system.
Pipes are installed in the walls and attic to tie a port in each room to the Jetpack in the laundry room. Instead of your dirty laundry being placed in a basket or hamper, you simply open the port and place your clothes in the port. Moments later, they arrive in the laundry room where they can be cleaned with ease and at your leisure.
Laundry Jet can be installed in new and in existing homes. In new homes, all piping can be completely hidden by thoughtfully designing specific room walls to be 2×8 walls where the pipe can run. In existing homes, generally piping may come down into rooms in the corner of the closet in the room (exposed to the closet but hidden to the room). We’d then turn the pipe so a port is on the wall of the room.
Pipes connecting to ports always go vertically at a 90 degree angle immediately, this is done for two reasons. Firstly, this makes the most difficult place for the clothes to be taken at the port itself, virtually eliminating risk of clogs. Also, the “pull” nature of the system makes clogs unlikely. In fact, we’ve had no complaints of clogs in any of the installed systems. Secondly, by turning vertically immediately, if a cell phone or toy is placed in the unit, it will not go anywhere, ensuring nothing is lost or broken.
